Beginner Afro with Mae - Monalisa x Chaleya (Sunday March 2nd, 1pm)
This Beginner Afro class will be taught by Mae. It is an open level class and beginner friendly.
Maë began her dance journey with a profound passion for Afro dance, training under globally renowned dancers at World Afro International dance program in Toulouse, France. Specializing in Afro-fusion, she blends traditional Afro rhythms with urban dance styles like Hip-Hop and Dancehall. A natural teacher, Maë shares her unique dance perspective, aiming to inspire with every step and movement. Her pursuit of specialized knowledge brought her to New York City and she is currently interning at @e.motionpt where she continues to explore the intersection of dance and physical therapy, further engaging with the vibrant local dance community.
